The Challenges of Christmas Card Pictures

This year we had several factors working against us in taking a Christmas card picture. The first of which was that we didn't take one in the first few weeks of January before Nate left, so we don't have one picture of the whole family during any point of 2010. The second is the general yearly challenge, which is that some family members (mostly all the men-folk) rebel. Thirdly, I was a little picky and didn't want my large stomach in the picture (we'll include Chase next year when everyone can see his cute face). We tried to take a few shots while in California.
Ben and Will took turns not smiling in the picture:

They went back and forth like this basically every other picture. It's like they planned it.
And then a few turned out blurry. Finally we got one that worked.
It was a Christmas miracle!

Thanks to our good friend and computer genius Mike Caldwell, we were able to put together a Christmas Card with decent pictures of everyone in the family!
Mission Accomplished.

  1. Heeey, those first couple aren't too bad. It IS a little eerie how Ben and Will seemed to coordinate the smiling/not smiling. The finished Christmas card is beautiful, though - I love that Nate got on there, and that picture of your parents is really nice!
