April was busy! Hudson had Medieval Days at school. The kids can earn certain ranks by completing extra assignments. Hudson wanted to go for KING, which means doing all the work. Part of that was to make a catapult or trebuchet- and instead of doing something easy with popsicle sticks and a plastic spoon, but completed this entire wooden structure with some help from Papa. Hudson really loves projects like this. He's so creative and loves to tinker until he gets it just right. So many extra hours went into it and I just love this for him!
We had the Goods over for dinner one night and Abby and Lila picked right up where they left off the last time. It's so fun for me and Kelly to see them be little friends!
This was my Easter dress made by my mom when I was 5!
Just another day at allergy shots! We got weekly for Chase to get him shot and these little two tag along a lot!
Ben had to go to Phoenix for work and I surprised him and flew in for a couple of days! It was actually so fun! While he was working I hung at the pool and had a four hour lunch with my cousin Kash, who lives there. It was a fun little surprise getaway!
We had a beautiful Easter! Our Sunday service was mostly music and the kids sang beautiful songs about Christ. We had our traditional breakfast of strawberry shortcake biscuits and had an Egg hunt up at Nana and Papas!
We had lots of cousin time and this group is seriously so cute!
I *think* this was camo day at school, but maybe they all just happened to being wearing camo? I can't even remember.
Just my two big boys, dutifully doing their homework!
It was Brene's birthday! So, of course, we threw her a little party! Mostly we just invited a few friends over for cake, but Aunt Heidi sent a gift for Brene. A little stuffed party dog, now named Lola.
Davis got baptized! It was such a beautiful service! Chase played the piano. Hudson and Uncle Will spoke. He had both grandpas say the prayers. He was so excited. Davis has such a sweet, pure heart. He loves people and spreads that love so freely. He said he felt so good on his baptism day.
